The mandate

This project was developed to help Rapido Books present their paper types in a visually appealing and informative way. The primary goal was to create a sample booklet that showcases various paper stocks and printing finishes, while also serving as a promotional tool for Rapido’s services.

First drafts

Initial drafts were hand-sketched to explore layout ideas and structure.

Cover and backcover

The use of colourful and impactful images was a key element in the process. In terms of typography I chose to pair Montserrat bold for titles and subtitles, and oxygen regular for paragraph text. To convey the variety of papers and how important color is for book printing, a beautiful abstract texture was perfect to describe it!

Internal pages

Bright, colorful imagery was selected for the cover and internal pages to reflect the quality and diversity of the paper options. Typography was carefully chosen to balance readability and modern appeal.

Internal pages feature detailed descriptions of paper weights, finishes, and print samples. The layout also cleverly integrates service promotions.

The samples in production

Seeing the final product in production gives such a good satisfaction!

Banners draft

Marketing Extension: Banner designs and HTML animations were planned to announce and promote the new sample book online.

Overall, this project not only provides practical paper samples for clients but also reinforces Rapido Books’ brand as a high-quality print service provider.
